My name is Mary Zhou. I come from Shanghai China. My first language is Mandarin. I live in the Staten Island for ten years. I have three children, one son and two daughters. I live in a 4-story apartment building. Now, I live on the 2nd floor . My neighbors are African Americans, Russians, blacks and Chinese.

I have two good friends. One is Amy and the other is Liz. Amy is from Taiwan. Liz is from Shanghai. We are very close to each other. We chat a lot when we meet. Sometimes we have dinner together at my home. On the street in front of my building, there is a library, a laundromat, a game room……etc. In the game room, we usually play majong and play bingo.

The building is very beautiful. In front of my building, there are six cherry trees, a church, a citibank branch and a supermarket. The bus stop is only two blocks from my home. My favorite hobbies are keeping plants. I also grow apples, peaches, pears, tomato, pepper, and cucumber, etc. I never watch movies .Because my eyes hurt when I watch them. I like to walk and practice taichi every day. I work very hard to improve my English.
